INTRODUCTION

 

　　Hi!I have just finished my Undergraduate and Master’s degrees in Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge.I specialized in Materials Science but I also studied Mathematics,Physics and Earth Sciences for two years.In April 2021 I will be starting a graduate role as an Engineer.

 

　　I have extensive tutoring experience.I spent nearly 18 months working at a tuition center teaching Mathematics and English to students aged 5-14 years.Up to six students worked through individual programs of study and I taught them new and difficult concepts whilst making notes on their progress to report back to their parents.I also tutored students privately.I planned these lessons,and these ranged from teaching new concepts to assisting with weekly homework.

 

　　In 2018,I spent 5 weeks teaching English in Guangzhou,China.I planned lessons based around themes designed to give the students an insight into British culture.Example topics included the Royal Family,Sports and Festivals.These classes were designed to improve the student’s confidence when speaking the language rather than teaching grammar.
